“Clouds suit my mood just fine.”
I was flipping rather mindlessly through the endless stream of instagram stories, paying no regard to which story belonged to who, when I noticed one that was taking place in a pastel colored cafe with clouds floating around the ceiling. Cafe El Cielo! The instagrammer had typed up on the top of her story. What a pretty name, I thought. Spanish for “Sky” or “heavens.” Somewhere I’d like to visit.
Armed with my Olympus camera (borrowed from a friend. Thank goodness for rich friends. Just kidding. Somewhat) and with Teyeun in tow, I headed over to Sinsa where El Cielo is located.
Half of the cafe is made up of windows, which is nice, as it lets in the sunlight, adding to the ambience of a heavenly cafe. Along with the pastel-colored, fluffy clouds that seemingly bob in the air above the cafe tables, Cafe El Cielo lives up to its name.
@cafe_el_cielo makes their own cream, and it’s good for absolutely everything~ topping cappuccinos, enjoying with their fresh cookies, and drawing on fake mustaches. It’s light and just sweet enough. It may have been my favorite part. Don’t let the “caught in the act” photo fool you; I most certainly want to be seen with this piece de resistance of a cream.
Head in the clouds, full of thoughts and dreams ☁ Sweet times among the fluffy decor @cafe_el_cielo ☕ Come for the handmade cookies and fresh cream, stay for the instaworthy photos 📷 If all that isn’t enough, the cafe part-timers are usually male models. I warned you; you’ll never want to leave.
